A painting of a rancher & outfitter from Rocky Mountain House who has lived for the land in the national parks. This one is set at the Ya Ha Tinda Ranch near Banff. Oil on Canvas, 24X36.
I am a devoted painter raised in Jasper national park in Alberta, Canada. I paint western inspired scenes in oil as well as a variety of works inspired by my personal and professional life. My life as a mother and as the wife of a Mountie have played a big role in my art. After many moves around Western Canada I currently reside in Prince George British Columbia (for now, anyways). Wow June, it's great!! I can't believe how well you captured the photo and their spirit. Very impressive, even if I'm biased by being his daughter.
